1885 Morgan Silver Dollar

Dollar values for the 1885 silver dollar range from $11 on the low end for a good circulated condition specimen, up to $400 for uncirculated brilliant with certain mint marks. Carson City dollars fetch a minimum of $300 because of their scarcity, the mint only produced 228,000 of this series. The most common 1885 silver dollars are the Philadelphia and New Orleans series. These range in values from approximately $11 to $25. These two mints produced over 25 million examples, hence the lower value. The San Francisco mint produced more than 1 million coins, making it worth slightly more in uncirculated condition.
